Ifeanyi Clement Nweke advises founders, investors, non-bank lenders, and international clients on FinTech and non-bank lending, regulatory compliance, commercial and regulatory dispute resolution, corporate structuring, and cross-border transactions across Africa.

His practice sits at the intersection of law, finance, regulation, and cross-border business. He works with clients from market entry through scale, helping them navigate African regulatory environments, structure compliant and commercially viable operations, facilitate cross-border investments, and manage regulatory and commercial disputes.

A core focus of his advisory work is guiding clients in making early structural decisions around ownership, control, governance, and risk — decisions designed to remain sound as businesses grow and regulatory landscapes evolve.

He regularly supports foreign founders and international investors entering African markets, advising on regulatory positioning, investment structuring, compliance frameworks, and transaction strategy across jurisdictions.

Ifeanyi holds an LLB from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and an LLM in International Trade, Business and Investment Law from University of the Western Cape. His academic training in trade and investment law informs his cross-border and regulatory advisory practice across the continent.

Chioma Agu is the Practice Manager at Clembert Partners. She oversees the firm’s administrative operations, client coordination, and internal systems, ensuring that legal services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with the firm’s standards.

She plays a central role in managing workflow processes, supporting client engagement structures, coordinating internal operations, and strengthening the firm’s operational framework. Her role ensures that the firm’s advisory work is supported by disciplined management and structured execution.

Chioma holds an LLB from Imo State University and an MBA from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. Her combined legal and business training enables her to approach practice management with both regulatory awareness and commercial insight.

Her academic background and administrative leadership contribute to maintaining the firm’s commitment to clarity, responsiveness, and operational excellence.

Fabian Sani

Associate, Clembert Partners

Fabian Sani is an Associate at Clembert Partners. He supports the firm’s advisory and dispute resolution practice, with particular involvement in regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and corporate matters.

His work includes legal research, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, supporting regulatory advisory engagements, and assisting in dispute resolution proceedings. He works closely with founders, businesses, and non-bank lenders to ensure that legal documentation and compliance frameworks are clear, structured, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Fabian contributes to the firm’s FinTech and non-bank lending advisory work, assisting in regulatory analysis, documentation, and compliance support for clients operating in regulated sectors.

He holds an LLB (Second Class Upper) from Kogi State University and a BL from Nigerian Law School. His academic training and practical exposure support his detail-oriented and disciplined approach to legal practice.
